Little Mary loves to sing but is afraid to join her church's choir. Mary's parents use the opportunity to teach her that, if you love the Lord with your whole heart and soul, you should give back to Him the gifts He has given you. Just as eaglets learn to fly by leaving behind the safety of the ledge, Mary needs to step out in faith, believing that the Lord will lift her up. Some people may tell you that it is crazy to leap into the unknown, but they will never know the joy of soaring on the wind.

Autorenporträt
MARY PERRONE DAVIS is a wife, mother, grandmother, Lay Carmelite, and Registered Nurse (working as a school nurse). Mary never planned to be an author. She was spending some quiet time outside on a women's retreat when a butterfly landed nearby and her first book, "Mary's Butterfly Garden," was born. This was soon followed by her second book, "Mary and the Fireflies." Her latest book, "Mary Loves to Sing" teaches children, and parents, to step out in faith to give back to God what He has given them. Mary hopes that her love of The Lord is reflected in her books and in her life, as she gives back to The Lord the gifts He has given her.
