Autorenporträt
Gail M. Tharp was born in upstate New York and moved to Indiana as a young adult. She became interested in history and intrigued with vivid stories told to her by her relatives. This is the third book she has authored. Her first book, Abners Creek Baptist Church is the historical life of a congregation between 1836-1926. Winter Harvest is an illustrated children's book about the days of harvesting ice from the rivers and lakes. She and her family live in Danville, Indiana. Mary's Purse is the second book in a historical series.
