Author Dr. Thomas S. Snyder spent 32 years as a civilian historian for the U.S. Air Force and has authored numerous histories and articles. He moved to Mascoutah in 1978. He, other collectors, and Mascoutah citizens combined their postcard collections to produce this snapshot of Mascoutah.
