Matthew David Evans is a novelist, short story writer, and poet from Sturgis, Michigan. His first novel, Prophets of the Otherworld, was published in 2011. Massacre at Sundown is his second novel, but it will not be his last. He is currently at work on a follow-up book called Day of the Devil, as well as a horror project set at Christmastime called Grim Tidings which he has written with his friend, Lee Webb.
