Lizzie Allen Harker was an English author. Her works include the play Marigold (with Francis R. Pryor), which was adapted into the 1938 picture Marigold. It was also aired on May 22, 1943, as one of the inaugural episodes of BBC Radio's long-running drama series Saturday Night Theatre. She was born in Gloucestershire and attended Cheltenham Ladies College. She married James Allen Harker (1847-1894), a lecturer at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, in 1885 and later became his widow. Their sons included Oswald Allen Harker (1886-1968), Brig. Arthur William Allen Harker CBE (1890-1960), and maybe more.
