Leidenschaftlich, emotionsgeladen und mit überraschenden Wendungen, kann diese kurzweilige Geschichte sehr gut überzeugen.
Das Buch wird abwechselnd aus der Sicht von Alexander und Willow in der Ich-Perspektive geschrieben. So findet man sich sehr gut und schnell in die beiden Charaktere hinein.
Inhaltlich möchte ich an dieser Stelle nicht allzu viel verraten und halte mich daher mit weiteren Details dazu zurück.
Die Geschichte ist emotional, gefühlvoll, aber auch spannungsgeladen zugleich. Eine süße Versuchung, die für ein Wechselbad der Gefühle sorgt. Kurzweilig und fesselnd, so dass hier keineswegs Langweile aufkommt, sondern die Seite nur so dahin fliegen.
Der Schreibstil ist angenehm und lässt sich sehr gut und flüssig lesen. Die einzelnen Kapitel haben eine angenehme Länge und lassen sich sehr gut lesen. Toll finde ich auch die Gestaltung der Kapitelanfänge mit den verschiedenen Kuchen und als Einleitung ein recht tiefgründiger Satz zu Beginn eines jeden Kapitels. Dies hat mir sehr gut gefallen und hat das Ganze noch zusätzlich abgerundet. Auch das Kuchenrezept am Ende hat mir gut gefallen.
Ein wundervoller Kurzroman, der für Unterhaltung sorgt, wunderschön gestaltet in Optik und Schreibweise ist und zugleich einfach sehr rund und unterhaltsam. Master of Cake ist eine sündenhafte Verführung wert und einfach lesenswert.
Fazit:
