Autorenporträt
Stacy Swartz, RHIA, CCS, CPC is the president of Swartz Consulting Services in Zanesville, OH. As an AHIMA Ambassador, and an approved ICD-10 trainer, Ms. Swartz has 25 years of experience in the coding and health information industry having worked all facets of the profession from coding to billing to vice president of operations. With expertise in both professional and facility service lines, she has served as an educator/consultant to over 2,000 coders and upwards of 400 physicians. Ms. Swartz' coding experience includes both inpatient and outpatient services having worked with several of the largest health systems and hospitals in the industry. She is erudite on HIPAA and federal regulations, and has been instrumental in organizational restructuring, client onboarding, systems application, and ICD-10 implementation. Ms. Swartz received her bachelor's degree from Herzing University.
