About the Author Dr. Lovejoy-Capers is a seasoned professional in the fields of real estate, professional coaching, nursing, and a consultant. She grew up in the concrete jungle better known as New York City, where she resided in Manhattan before relocating to the South following her marriage. As a child, she knew that she was different. What she did not know was that it was because she had a passion for people. Tanya understands that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect no matter who they are, especially our elders. She loves listening to stories and learning from her elders. She feels that everyone should help others by sharing their knowledge.
