Jen Lucas, Pittsburgh area native and green tea aficionado, is the knowledgeable and passionate founder behind Yang + Yin Health. She strives to share information about wellness and formulate products and recipes that omit harmful chemicals and promote health. For years, she's made her own food and skincare products using matcha and she advocates the importance of knowing what goes in and on one's body. Jessica VanNewkirk, also a Pittsburgh native, holds a degree in hospitality and marketing. Years in the food and natural skincare industry have instilled in her the belief that cooking with natural ingredients is a beautiful way to connect with nature. When developing food allergies pushed her to find innovative ingredients and cooking methods, she was more than prepared. Jess combined her passions for natural ingredients and working with small businesses for this cookbook.
