The books in the Six Weeks with the Bible series are an ideal way for Catholics to learn more about the Bible. Each book includes the biblical text, an explanation of its cultural and religious setting, essential background material, and questions for reflection and application. The thirty-seven books in the series cover most of the New Testament, the key Old Testament texts, and six themes--"becoming a praying person, the Mass, social justice, relating to people as Jesus would, marriage, and the journey to the Promised Land.
