Manel Msalmi é investigadora em Humanidades Ambientais e estudos americanos, é parceira de projecto na UNESCO em questões ambientais, é especialista em Relações Internacionais na escola Ceris ULBdiplomatic, com extensa pesquisa sobre o Médio Oriente e o Irão e tem colaborado com o Parlamento Europeu em questões relacionadas com o Irão, o Sul da Ásia e o MENA.
