Katie Steckles is a mathematician based in Manchester, who gives talks and workshops and writes about mathematics. She finished her PhD in 2011, and since then has talked about math in schools, at science festivals, on BBC radio and TV, at music festivals, as part of theatre shows and on the internet. She lectures part-time in mathematics at Sheffield Hallam University, in the Institute of Education. Sam Hartburn is a math consultant and freelance editor. She has worked on popular math books, textbooks and digital learning resources, and holds a BSc in Mathematics from York University. Ben Sparks is a math communicator, public speaker and former math teacher. Ben gives math talks and workshops around the world. His performances include regular work with the Numberphile YouTube channel (run by Brady Haran) where his videos have been watched over 12 million times. He also runs his own YouTube channel SparksMaths.
