Mark Hansen lebt in Australien und ist Vater von vier Kindern. Er ist stellvertretender Schulleiter und Lehrer für Mathematik, das er mit Leidenschaft unterrichtet. Seine Vorschläge für einen anderen Umgang mit Mathematik im Unterricht wurden in Fachjournalen veröffentlicht. Sein Ziel sind Schüler, die sicher, selbstbewusst und kreativ mit Mathematik umgehen, deren Nutzen sehen und sich gern damit befassen. Dies ist sein zweites Kinderbilderbuch nach Math for All bzw. Mathe für Alle (ebenfalls TBR Books).
