Mathematics is usually the "pet peeve" of many people; students and researchers in economics and management are no exception. Yet in these social sciences, mathematics is sometimes unavoidable. Better still, the understanding of several phenomena in these sciences requires a certain mastery of mathematics, hence the interest of this production. The book is organized around three chapters. The first chapter shows how the notion of numerical sequence can be used to understand linear recurrent operations and long-term financial operations such as capitalization or interest discounting. The second chapter deals with single-variable functions, with emphasis on the notions of derivative and primitive, and on applications in economics. Finally, the third chapter, allow to study multiple variables function with application in optimisation problems.
