Gakinya Kigamba es doctor en Educación Matemática por la Universidad del Monte Kenia, en Thika; tiene un máster en Matemáticas Aplicadas por la Universidad Kenyatta de Nairobi (Kenia); y es licenciado en Educación por la Universidad de Nairobi. El autor también es licenciado en Teología por la Universidad de Sudáfrica (UNISA) y tiene un diploma superior en Teología.
