The main objective of this research was to verify how technologies (smartphones) are being used in education. The guiding question is "How is the use of technologies (smartphones) revealed in the productions published in the annals of ANPED (2013 to 2017)"? A documentary research was conducted on the legislation that deals and regulates the use of technologies in Basic Education. The theoretical frameworks that supported our research are anchored in different authors who deal with this topic. The present study was configured in a quantitative approach, and to discuss how the technologies are being used in Education, it was used the bibliometric analysis, in which were analyzed 1,206 (One Thousand Two hundred and Six) articles published in the annals of ANPED - National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education, held in 2013, 2015 and 2017. A documentary research was conducted on the laws that address and regulate the use of technologies in Basic Education. The theoretical frameworks that supported our research are anchored in different authors who deal with the theme of the use of technologies.
