Matt Foust (born October 8, 1984 in Fort Scott, Kansas) is an American baseball pitcher for the State College Spikes. He played collegiately at Nebraska. Foust went to Blue Valley West High School. He was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Kansas and earned first-team All-Johnson County Conference honors as a senior going 3-3 with a 1.42 ERA striking out 61 in 42 innings. Foust redshirted in 2004 after having a shoulder injury. He helped the huskers reach the 2005 College World Series his freshman year making 5 relief appearances with 1 save and a 2.57 ERA. He made a no decision start in 2006 with a save and a 3.18 ERA. In 2007, he got plenty of starts going 2-4 and a 4.02 ERA and 7 saves in 27 appearances (6 starts).
