Autorenporträt
Kathy Callahan worked in private industry for 32 years then spent 12 years working for a city government before retiring. After retiring she became more active in her local Friends of the Library, worked-out faithfully at a local gym, spent several years remodeling the inside of her home and had lunches with the girls. After awhile, boredom set in and she decided to write a book; something she always swore she would so "one day." Thus, Maui Murders was born, taking a year to write and two years to edit and redo many parts before seeking publication. Kathy feels she was fortunate as her and Ron were able to travel the world. Her favorite city is Paris, favorite country is Egypt and most memorable traveling experience is getting marooned in a gondola underneath a bridge in Venice during a thunderstorm. Kathy and Ron live in Southern California where she is working on her second novel which takes place in League City, Texas a suburb of Houston, Corpus Christi and the Grand Cayman Islands. It, too, is a murder mystery, well---sort of.
