"Help, help! Please help me," cried Max. I have been lost on Harsens Island for five days now. Please Lord, help my family find me. I want to go home! I miss my warm bed and good food. This endearing, true story of Max lost on Harsens Island, was written to encourage young readers to learn the Lord's Prayer and to trust in God for comfort and provision of daily needs. Come along with your child as each day unfolds to see what part of the prayer is remembered. What a joy it is to read about prayers being answered for Max by our Heavenly Father. Myra Wildner, along with family and friends, enjoys vacationing on Harsens Island, Michigan. The story is based on the time Max, her family's toy poodle, wandered off and was lost for five days. Max loved the island and always rode on the boat with them. He loved to ride on the Harley with Dad and Mom as well. Myra states that she is thankful to God for many blessings, including Max who lived to be eighteen years old. Her desire has been to write a book about him. Her prayers were answered when the Holy Spirit lead her to write this story. She is blessed to have been a stay at home Mom and now she enjoys time with her first grandchild, Parker. www.facebook.com/maxremembersthelordsprayer Illustrator: Susan Capizzo Susancapizzo11@comcast.net
