Autorenporträt
Robbi Muir is a graphic designer, illustrator and author of "Max the City Dog: A Day at the Beach". She started her career as an illustrator in Vancouver after completing a BA in Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia. She has been a graphic designer in New York City since 1985. Robbi loved drawing since childhood, and recently rediscovered her passion for water color painting. "Max the City Dog" is her first children's book and the intent is to create a series. She lives with her husband in Brooklyn right on the ocean at Brighton Beach. The book describes real places and landmarks along the beach -the New York Aquarium, Nathan's on the boardwalk and Coney Island's Luna Park amusement area.
