Autorenporträt
Lesley Burgess, a past secondary English teacher and teacher-librarian, has a passion for literature. Before retiring in 2011, Lesley introduced Literature Circles to her school focusing on children's picture books. She received the John Ward Award (2002) for outstanding contribution to librarianship and afterwards published a CD-ROM, Making a Difference: Research Guide. Lesley lives in Melbourne, Australia and has been married for 45 years. Lesley is a volunteer at ACMI (The Australian Centre for the Moving Image), likes attending shows at the Malthouse Theatre, and participates in a monthly book club. She enjoys being a Nana to her four grandchildren.
