ASCAP Award-winner Chip Deffaa, who's written and illustrated "Max's Grand Adventure," has written or co-written eight books, 20 plays, one motion picture, 88 songs, and countless articles. For 18 years, he covered entertainment for the New York Post. He's also produced more than 40 albums, the most recent one being his own "Chip Deffaa's Tin Pan Alley: Songs I Sing to My Deer."
