Gigi is driven by her passion for reinventing education into child-centered, empowering, and optimal learning programs through multimodality, active, and creative learning strategies.She co-founded and led the learning design of two Silicon Valley K-8 schools-Synapse School and Imagination School. She also co-founded and was chief learning architect of Playnovate, an online and hands-on STEAM Learning Lab for ages 5-12 and Young Outliers, an Entrepreneurship and Design Camp for high school students.Gigi developed the Helical Model, a constructivist curriculum model, grounded on neuroscience and the learning sciences. Learning strategies are fueled by children's natural abilities and creative applications. Gigi has a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
