Autorenporträt
Robin Patrick, is a mom of three beautiful children, a youth leader, a graphic designer and owner of a graphic-design studio, Moxie Creative Studio in Wisconsin (www.thinkmoxie.com), as well as an author. Beyond that, she is a singer-songwriter, who has recorded three CDs and has written five movie scripts and is in the process of writing a musical, all of which she hopes to one day get produced. Ms. Patrick is an avid advocate in pursuing laws that help prevent childhood suicide. She is currently pursuing a statewide law in Wisconsin to put crisis/suicide information on the backs of all student ID cards, and then plans on pursuing this effort at the national level. But most importantly, she is a loving friend of the family that lost the beautiful Maya to cancer, a life that was cut way too short!!! Upon finding out about the passing of the amazing, vivacious Maya, Ms. Patrick wrote and illustrated this book within 5 days in honor of Maya's life, and all children and families who have had to endure childhood cancer.
