Autorenporträt
Leslie Ann Hayashi is a retired judge, author, and artist. She has written several children's books, contributed to various short story collections, and won several writing awards. Her husband, Alan Van Etten, is an attorney in Honolulu. Both are proud members of the ABA since the 1970s and 1980s. Their older son, Justin, is in-house counsel at Figma in San Francisco. He and his wife, Jannie, have a daughter, Tanni, whom Gma and Gpa love dearly. Their second son, Taylor, works for Remitly in Seattle. He and his wife Marina are parents to a beautiful Corgi named Freya.
