It is also a multi-dimensional concern that also depicts the directly proportional relationship existing between cultural promotion and environmental conservation. The Mbongolo tradition practiced by most of the forest people in Cameroon in general and the Mbonges in particular is not only being threatened by the White man's system of Governance, but also by the rapidly disappearing forest vegetation subject to ruthless deforestation and climate change. It is a reminder of the necessity to promote peaceful conflict resolution in order to preserve the rich cultural heritage and environmental sustainability.
