A mother of two and married for 22+ years to the man she dated during her college years. I consider these years my most important journey in the development of success. My sons were six years apart and they grew up to be very nice young men with distinctive character. During my formative years, I graduated from high school, completed college in 3 ¿ years with a degree BA in telecommunication (radio/television), started a full-time job in sales, moved out of my parent's home to my own apartment, got married, and lived overseas for three years as a military wife. I thought I was grown, but little did I know there was much more in store. I wore many hats after my children were born. I was a PTA co-chair, community activist, teacher, special educator, social service counselor, promotional model, NCO bar manager, librarian, wife, and my most important role, Mom. I finally decided to follow my inner spirit and spiritual growth by becoming a writer. My hope and desire, when writing this book, was to help God's people grow and learn to love themselves while they surrender to God's will for their life. I am a four year breast cancer survivor and bereaved mother of a 24 year old son. The book's cover is dedicated to my son who always gave the sign of peace in many photos and this is where his spirit left his body.
