When regulary following a blog the reader can often get the feeling of starting to know the person behind it. In other words, it seems that the blog presents an image of their author. But how do they create this image? Is it actually possible to construct a self-identity on a blog? To be able to find an answer to the question, four blogs of young teenagers between the ages of 14 to 16, which they use as personal diaries online, have been examinated.
