Ing lives in Goulburn, NSW Australia, with her husband, two daughters and son. They have numerous pets, including one dog, chickens, and finches. Wild animals enjoy visiting their property on a regular basis: including various wild birds, possums, lizards, and tree frogs. Ing also writes and illustrates children's books with her son, Carter (Mister C) and is a registered nurse in her local town.
