Jeanette Sitton is the founder of the Friends of Joseph Carey Merrick, a society devoted to promote Joseph Merrick's life and legacy of courage. Mae Stroshane is a Boston writer whose works have appeared in numerous anthologies such as "The Forbidden Stitch: An Anthology of Asian American Women, winner of the 1990 National Book Award.
