Achutha Menon Centre Positive Mental Health Scale (AMCPMHS) was developed and used to study positive mental health (PMH) among young people in a part of India. It revealed lower PMH among females even after controlling for other variables; the correlates of positive mental health differentially influence the mental health of young men and women.
