In the 4th industrial revolution, industry fields have been confronted with a new changed technology environment. Especially, smart technology has been applied to improve their business environment and outcome in all kinds of industry fields. Most industry has tried to efficiently establish a smart technology environment appropriate for industry fields. In this industry technology environment, the smart technology capability of industry fields is very critical for the efficiency of its business activity and for the advancement of its performance. The measurement framework has to be developed for reasonably managing and improving the smart technology capability that can efficiently support for industrial fields. This research develops a measurement system of industry fields that is verified by reliability analysis and factor analysis based on previous studies. This study presents a 16-item framework that can objectively gauge a smart technology capability for industry fields, and also provides the measurement systems that can utilize for manufacturing, construction and logistics fields developed by an identical research method such as the measurement system for industry fields.

Dr.Chui Young Yoon is a professor at Department of IT-Applied Convergence in Korea National University of Transportation and is also a director of Institute of On Kwang Technology Research,South Korea. He has participated as a TPC member and an invited speaker in international conferences and has published about 60 papers in international journals.
