She visits perpetrators in correctional facilities and victims in their homes. They all have their stories. At first, she is with her mother and then with her ex-boyfriend David, who has borderline syndrome because Julia, his first girlfriend, broke up with him years ago. - Julia is laid-back and lively, never shying away from a flirtation or a spontaneous night out. Meanwhile, David is more of a gloomy traditionalist, sticking to his conservative beliefs and wrestling with jealousy. - Working closely with his love interest, David becomes increasingly despondent. In the end, he kidnaps Julia and her Italian boyfriend. David's father and Julia's mother rush to find them before David can torture and kill them. They arrive almost just in time, but David shoots his father, causing a life-threatening injury. David is tried and sentenced to life in a psychiatric clinic.
