The dispersion of alumina nanoparticles (Spherical and rod-shaped) in epoxy is introduced. Quasi-static lap shear strength and fracture toughness of nanocomposite adhesives are discussed in detail. The book describes the dynamic lap shear strength of nanocomposite adhesives using SHPB and finite element modeling of lap shear strength of nanocomposite adhesives.
