It has been more than a couple of decades since HIV/AIDS has become a major challenge and priority issues of global health. Its prevalence rate is comparatively becoming more devastating in Sub-Saharan Africa than in other part of the world. Ethiopia is one of the high HIV stricken countries among Sub Saharan Africa. A number of stakeholders, which are one way or the other keenly concerned with the prevention and control of the epidemic in the country, are exerting their own effort to a maximum so as to quarantine and if possible to eradicate the alarmingly spread of the pandemic in the country. Mass media is taking a forefront position in the march to halt HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia. And the book is in fact all about the role of mass media, especially radio, in fighting against HIV/AIDS. It embodies some important Mass Media theoretical frameworks that can go inline with HIV/AIDS prevention and control interventions. It is therefore, quite indispensable for media houses and other stakeholders which are predominantly working on HIV/AIDS prevention and control activities to take it as a basement rock in their further stride of fighting against HIV/AIDS.
