During the present study information, regarding locally used plants in different recipes revealed that there are 67 species belonging to 43 families. Out of which 1 Pteridophytes, 3 Gymnosperms, 63 were Angiosperm. Lamiaceae is the leading one with 8 species, followed by Rosaceae with 5 species and Solanaceae with 4 species. The families Asteraceae, Plantaginaceae, Ranunculaceae and Pinaceae with 3 species. Alliaceae, Brassicaceae, Plantaginaceae, Rhamnaceae with 2 species while the remaining families representing with only one species each.
