The research work was carried out to investigate traditional knowledge of ethnomedicinal plants of District Charsadda, KPK, Pakistan. The local people of the area used surrounding natural resources that is wild plants for medicinal purposes and to cure different diseases. Also to conserve medicinal for future generations. The survey indicated that the study area has plenty of medicinal plants to treat a wide spectrum of human ailments. Medicinal plants are valuable global resource, increasingly threatened by loss of habitats and over exploitation. The principal cause of over exploitation includes; lack of knowledge about sustainable harvest rates and practices; poverty and breakdown of traditional controls.
