Out of necessity, Dad was a man of many talents. He sewed dresses from chicken grain sack material for the girls. He made moccasins from felt for us to wear inside of our boots. He cut hair, soled shoes; and patched boots. He tied his fishing flies and made his spinners. He filed saws and made peep sights for hunting rifles. Dad retired in 1965 due to ill health.
