Founder of the Matriarch Eats brand (@MatriarchEats), journalist and author Anastasia Miari has been cooking with and interviewing the world’s grandmothers for six years. She holds a Guild of Food Writer’s Award for ‘inspired storytelling and great journalistic integrity.’ In her work as a food and travel writer, she freelances for Lonely Planet Guides, Monocle magazine, Konfekt magazines, The Guardian, The Sunday Times and is Courier magazine’s Athens-based correspondent. Based in Greece, Anastasia hosts retreats on her home island of Corfu, giving people a real insight into the worlds of her books.
