Autorenporträt
Alejandro Parra es psicólogo y Doctor en Psicología, además de psicoterapeuta en la práctica privada. Graduado en Psicología por la Universidad Abierta Interamericana de Buenos Aires, también es docente adjunto e investigador universitario. Parra ha sido una figura consultada regularmente por medios de prensa, radio y TV tanto locales como internacionales. Durante quince años, editó la Revista Argentina de Psicología Paranormal y actualmente edita el boletín electrónico Psi. Desde 1993, preside la Asociación Civil 'Instituto de Psicología Paranormal' y la Agencia Latinoamericana de Información Psi. Ha contribuido a la actualización del libro de texto de la OMS sobre Psiquiatría y fue presidente de la Parapsychological Association entre 2011 y 2013. Ha organizado congresos internacionales de parapsicología y exposiciones fotográficas sobre lo oculto, además de ser miembro activo de diversas asociaciones internacionales de psicología y parapsicología. Entre sus publicaciones destacan títulos como 'Fenómenos paranormales: Una introducción a los eventos sorprendentes', 'Sueños: Cómo interpretar sus mensajes' y 'Alucinaciones: ¿Experiencia o Trastorno?'. Ha publicado más de 250 artículos en revistas académicas y de divulgación, y ha recibido premios como el Excellence Award al mejor investigador en parapsicología de América Latina.
