Nigel Dennis, international bekannter britischer Naturfotograf, lebte 23 Jahre im südlichen Afrika und fotografierte dort die faszinierende Tierwelt. Ein Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit war die Kalahari, wo er 25 Monate lang die Tiere, Pflanzen und bizarren Landschaftsformen dieser Wüste in außergewöhnlichen Bildern dokumentierte.
