Boo Boo Kitty was created by Thomas Kotay's wife, Denise, in June of 1989 for their niece Macey during a terrible storm. The Meet Boo Boo Kitty books all have themes, like learning what a home is and what love is; true events in the lives of Boo Boo, Macey, and Macey's parents; and honoring your parents so you stay out of trouble. These creative books are simple for kids but also a little bit sophisticated for adults. Each book is unique because the events within really happened in the Kotay family's lives; they have enriched them as an extended family. Readers and listeners can be sure to find hope and joy in their lives, and in some small way Boo Boo Kitty can help in that regard! About the Author Thomas Kotay and his wife are retired; she was an educator, he was a transportation planner. They were never blessed with children, but their nieces and nephews, and now their grandnieces and grandnephews, have filled and continue to fill that void in their lives. The same applied/applies to their closest friends' children. They are actively involved in our church and in their community through various religious and nonprofit organizations. They loved to play tennis and cross-country ski, but now being in their 70s with various aches and pains those things are in the past. They enjoy reading early American history and historical fiction. The Kotays have been richly blessed, and they want others to find the blessings in their lives. They are there; each of us just needs to search for them, away from the noise of our culture.
