Autorenporträt
Rodger E. Stroup is a graduate of Wofford College and holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. He has been the director/curator of the Historic Columbia Foundation, deputy director of the South Carolina State Museum, and director and state historic preservation officer of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. In 2009 he was awarded the Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian honor in the state of South Carolina.
