Beny Tchaicovsky (1954-2009) was a fine-arts painter, composer, musician, and an award-winning multimedia digital artist. Tchaicovsky's paintings have been exhibited internationally in museums such the Luxembourg Museum in Paris in the 1989 show "Les Trois Ameriques a Paris" as well as in exhibitions in Germany, Brazil and the United States Tchaicovsky's numerous awards include "The Visionary" winner of the first place for the best CyberPoster design worldwide competition celebrating the First Multimedia Day at the 49th Cannes Film Festival in France. After two decades of a career as a painter and musician in Germany and Spain; in the early 90's Tchaicovsky moved to the United States. In San Francisco, he began expanding his two-dimensional work into 3D moving images and in the process became one of the pioneer artists who contributed to the history of CGI (computer-generated imagery) as an art form. He understood early on the relevance of this new technology and used it as a tool for his creative expression. Tchaicovsky's work has been seen internationally on film festivals, magazine covers, music albums, billboards and displayed in exhibitions. He contributed to the Mind's Eye Series and created several published feature animation DVD's (Cyberscape: A Computer Animation Vision, Morning Star Trilogy with The Call, Caught Between Worlds and Dimensional Connections; he left unpublished Memoirs of a Shadow, Luz Oferenda, and Zycon X1.
