Linda Barcus Linda Barcus was born and raised in Urbana Illinois, and still resides there with her husband, Dale, of 57 years. She retired in 2004 from a local bank in Urbana as an administrative officer, and supervisor of word processing. She and her husband have a daughter and a son. They have five grandchildren and two great grandsons. Besides enjoying writing poems, she also enjoys being the family historian for her family, as well as her husbands family. She and Dale enjoy exploring the United States in their RV, doing research as they travel. Ashley York Ashley York was born and raised in Urbana Illinois and now resides in Sidney, Illinois. She is the granddaughter of Linda Barcus. She works at a local Cap and Gown company supervising and leading the sales teams. She graduated from Kingswood Christian School in Urbana, and from Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois. Ashley has a younger sister, Danielle. Ashley volunteered to edit this book, and has done an excellent job.
