The present work seeks to highlight a study dealing with the alignment between the archaeological collections and the scientific production, papers, of four archaeologists over the period 2005 to 2014, through their lattes curriculum and the Museological Documentation that records and controls the formation and development of the archaeological collections constituted by the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará. In this sense, the aim is to highlight the main components present in the two sources of information analyzed, to check the scope of the existing fields in the Museological Documentation, to measure the quantity of archaeological collections that have been developed from the selected themes in the two sources of information and to examine the chronology existing in the Museological Documentation that form the archaeological collections of the Emílio Goeldi Museum of Pará. The methodology used for the development of this activity is based on a study characterized as a research that starts from a bibliographic, exploratory and documentary fund. In addition, the qualitative and quantitative approach was used as it seeks to verify the relationship between the two sources of information proposed.
