David L Collinson is Senior Lecturer in Industrial Relations and Organizational Behaviour at the University of Warwick and author of Managing the Shopfloor (De Gruyter, 1992), co-author of Managing to Discrimate (Routledge, 1990) and co-editor of Job Redesign (Gower, 1985). Jeff Hearn is Professorial Research Fellow in the Faculty of Economic and Social Studies, based in the School of Social Policy, University of Manchester. He is the author of Violence and Gender Relations (SAGE, 1996) and The Sexuality of Organizations (SAGE, 1989).
