J.H. Rhodes was raised in Nebraska, but as a young man became a California transplant where he has lived ever since. Being retired allows him to be devoted full time to writing. He has authored nearly thirty novels, of which twenty-six are mysteries, and over one hundred of his short stories, poems, and plays are in publication.
