O P. Dr. Binoy Checkonthayil é um padre católico indiano de Kerala que pertence à congregação religiosa Carmelitas de Maria Imaculada (CMI). Tem um M.Phil. Tem um mestrado pela Universidade de Cristo, em Bengaluru, e um doutoramento em Psicologia pela Universidade de Nagpur. Ensina Psicologia em Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram. Foi assistente de ensino em Ohio, E.U.A.
