After her second state law exam Jana-Cécile Filmer founded Friendscout24 together with her brother and mother, which they established as market leader together with the Scout24 Group and partners such as T-Online and RTL Group and the publishing company Gruner + Jahr. Jana-Cécile Filmer worked for many years as a consultant and head of new media for various clients, wrote for the Sesame Street Workshop and completed stages at WDR Children's Television ("Sendung mit der Maus"). For the initiative "A Net for Children", the Ministry for Families, Women, Seniors and Youth as well as the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media Jana-Cécile Filmer produces the virtual magic realm and children game "Merlantis". With the book" a guide to a scavenger hunt for wizard students" Jana-Cécile Filmer is now realizing the english version of the Merlantis Magic Path series.
